SoulTone '54 Historic Blues Strat Set – The Original Woody Tone. This set is wound to vintage spec and give you a very clean, glassy, bell like tone. Alnico II Magnets give a slightly softer attack when overdriven when compared to Alnico V, very vintage sounding. The bridge pickup is slightly overwound and an amazing quack tone in position 2 & 4. Set comes on black vulcanized fiber bobbins and wound with 42 AWG wire offering up a very authentic tone like the early days. Reverse wound, reverse polarity by default but I can wind them all the same if you want the original early 50’s vibe and no noise cancelling. Bridge 6.3K, Mid 6K, Neck 5.9K. All my pickups come wax potted.
